La Société Française d’Allergologie lance une revue anglophone de recherche en Allergologie afin de promouvoir les connaissances en Allergologie avec un très haut niveau d’exigence scientifique. Ce média en ligne en open access permettra de faire rayonner notre société savante dans le Monde.
JAHD is the official journal of the French Allergy Society (SFA). It is the only journal in the field of Allergy which includes the concept of hypersensitivity, which is aligned of the pioneer representation of allergic and hypersensitivity in the international classifications of the World Health Organization, such the International Classifications of Diseases (ICD)-11.
La rédactrice en chef, le Dr Luciana Tanno, sera assistée de 2 rédacteurs en chef adjoints, le Dr Luc Colas et le Dr Davide Caimmi ainsi que d’un comité de rédaction international.
Cette revue anglophone vise à publier des travaux cliniques, translationnels et fondamentaux dans les principaux domaines suivants :
· Anaphylaxie
· Allergies et hypersensibilités liées aux médicaments, aux aliments et aux piqûres d’insectes
· Affections allergiques et d’hypersensibilité de la peau et des voies respiratoires
· Les pathologies à éosinophiles et mastocytaires
· La recherche épidémiologique et environnementale
The Journal of Allergy and Hypersensitivity Diseases (JAHD) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal in the fields of allergy, clinical immunology and hypersensitivity diseases. It aims to impact and communicate excellence in all aspects of the fields, including clinical, educational, and translational research, associated with new technologies, epidemiology, public health and environmental aspects. JAHD publishes quality original articles, guidelines, reviews, and short communications.
The editor-in-chief, Dr. Luciana Tanno, will be assisted by two associate editors, Dr. Luc Colas and Dr. Davide Caimmi, along with an international editorial board.
All JAHD content will be peer-reviewed. The journal welcomes original articles covering the spectrum of conditions managed by allergists in clinical practice, such as:
The JAHD will present results from these areas in original papers, review articles and short communications. This research must advance the understanding of an allergic condition or medical treatment and contribute to improving the quality of care of patients with allergy, asthma, and hypersensitivity.

Le JAHD examinera les articles, les revues, les notes techniques et les lettres aux éditeurs en vue de leur publication, à condition que la méthodologie et le contenu scientifique soient de grande qualité et que les résultats aient un impact clinique substantiel.
– Articles originaux
– Revues/examens systématiques
– Lignes directrices/documents de synthèse
– Communication courte
– Lettre à la rédaction (aucun rapport de cas ne sera accepté)
– Éditorial (sur invitation uniquement, rédigé par les membres du comité de rédaction et couvrant les articles de chaque numéro)
– JAHD pipeline (nouveaux outils, nouvelles technologies, nouveaux médicaments en cours d’essai clinique) : même format qu’un article original
– Débat ou table ronde JAHD (2 ou 3 experts seront invités à discuter – répondre à des questions de différents points de vue sur un sujet « polémique » dans le domaine de l’allergie/hypersensibilité, similaire à un pour/contre) – le comité éditorial sera invité à suggérer des sujets et des participants.
Calendrier de publication
Le journal sera publié en format électronique uniquement, avec deux numéros la première année, quatre numéros les deuxième, troisième et quatrième années, et tous les deux mois à partir de la cinquième année (six numéros par an). Le journal utilisera un flux de production rapide, avec une publication basée sur les articles et une numérotation des articles.
Comité de rédaction et procédures
La qualité des articles sera assurée par un comité de rédaction international et équilibré en termes de genre, nommé par le rédacteur en chef.
Article types
The JAHD will consider articles, reviews, technical notes and letters to the editors for publication, provided that the methodology and the scientific content are of high quality and the results have substantial clinical impact.
Publication schedule
The journal will be published in e-only format and 2 issues in the first year, 4 issues in the second, third and fourth years, and every 2 months in year 5 and after (6 issues per year). The journal will use a fast production workflow, with article-based publishing and article numbering.
Editorial board and processes
Article quality will be assured by an international and gender-balanced editorial board nominated by the editor-in-chief.
